Best Answer

Load refers to the power required to accomplish a task. In electricity a device's load fluctuates depending on what it is doing. If it is starting an application it is under a bigger load than if it is just on standby.

What load causes fatigue failure?

Fatigue failure is caused by fluctuating load. Fluctuating load is one in which the load value chages from a highest value to zer then to negative extreme, then to zero, and so on. Example:Compressing and expanding a spring can be taken as fatigue loading for understanding.

What is definition of fluctuating load?

The type of loads that vary continuously on the structure or a body are called fluctuating loads . for example traffic passing on a bridge applies different loads of varying nature. When load is fluctuating , the maximum stress level condition appears frequently . number of loading cycle is a count which tells that how many times the structure can bear maximum stress level. So fluctuating loads reduce the endurance limit.

What are the word parts for Bipolar?

Are dynamic and fatigue loads same?

i think you should understand what is live load and cycling loading actually, live load Live loads are usually unstable or moving loads. Live loads, or imposed loads, are temporary, of short duration, or moving.so as per my understanding, fatique is actually cause by these moving/dynamic loadings( a loads which is not stable and moving i-e a sand bag on wheel borrow is moving over the structure). Fatiguefailure is caused by fluctuating load. Fluctuating loadis one in which theloadvalue chages from a highest value to zer then to negative extreme

Why do fuses break?

Constant temperature change due to fluctuating current/amperage draws weaken the metal inside fuses over time rendering the fuse unable to handle the rated load

What is the definition of Load?

It means to put something in another thing you 'load' it

What is the difference between load and strees testing?

Stress testing means increasing the load ,and cheking the performance at each level. Load testing means at a time giving more load by the expectation and checking the performance at that leval. Volume testing means first we have to apply initial load, then at certain time increase the load and check the performance.

What is no load full load?

load in terms of any electrical machine is of 3 types mainly :- 1)resistive load--it means the load connected is a resistor only. 2)inductive load--it means the load applied is an inductor only. 3)capacitive load--it means the load is capacitor only. 4)also there may be combination of all these types or any two of the above loads like capacitive -resistive load;capacitive -inductive load. NO LOAD:--- as it is very clear from the word itself that it is no load that means no load has been applied to the machine..i.e.the output terminal of machine is open circuited FULL LOAD:-- the maximum load value that can be applied to the machine at which it can work without damaging any part of the machine is called machine working at full load ---------mrityunjay pandey (kiit university ,btech 2nd year)
