My Dodge has done this twice. Both times it was the computer (ECM). Easy to replace but the trick is to determine if there is another problem causing your ECM to go bad. I had some wires wear through the isulation that shorted out on my second one. Usually There is another issue such as a short or a bad sensor that causes these to go bad.
