A fetal pole is the first visible sign of a developing embryo. This pole structure actually isn't a nice straight "pole" ... it actually has some curve to it with the embryo’s head at one end and what looks like a tail at the other end. I am not sure what to tell you about what they are saying... but I do know that the fetal pole is usually best seen around 5 1/2 to 6 1/2 weeks. I hope the pregnancy is viable... I guess only time will tell that... I wish you nothing but the best...

If it was a vaginal ultrasound then yes it could give you some spotting.
They used to get trans-vaginal ultrasounds. Never heard of trans-rectal ultrasound, but why not? Doctors are very inventive.
In general, vaginal ultrasounds are said to be more accurate than abdominal ultrasounds. However, there are documented cases where they have been wrong, with tragic results. If a baby is no longer alive, there is a series of tests that can be done to determine this. Ultrasound is only one of them. Take care not to take hasty action. Usually the body will take care of things itself, but if you should become feverish you should seek help straight away. See the Web Link to the left for further information.
The best way to find out what is happening is to have an ultrasound scan, so you can actually see if there is a serious problem. Often there is no apparent reason for vaginal bleeding in pregnancy.
my step sister had a baby and she had her first ultra sound at 2 months so yes i believe it's still early. Actually I had an Ultrasound done at 5 weeks and 5 days. They were able to see the sac, baby and pick up the heart beat at 122 bpm. So no, it it not too early to get an ultrasound.
Be patient.
Yes, increase in vaginal moisture is normal in pregnancy.
It is called a transvaginal ultrasound. A new pregnancy typically cannot be visualized until the HCG levels reach between 4,000-5,000. This is when the gestational sac, fetal pole and yolk sac can be visualized. Cardiac activity is typically not seen on an ultrasound until 6 to 7 weeks gestation.
You really need to talk to your doctor or the person who did the ultrasound about this.
Yes they can it's very small and looks nothing like a baby and usually an internal ultrasound is perormed. This is a small pole that they insert into your vagina as it's easier to see from there as the pregnancy is actually very tiny wht's shown will appear on the screen but I doubt you'd be able to make anything out unless you knew what you were looking for. Due to the small size of the pregnancy it's unlikley a doctor would want to do an ultrasound at this stage unless it was to determine absoloutely that you were pregnant in the first place, which is unlikley as there are other ways of telling.
