it depends on the relationship. if you are freinds it could just be a joke based on how well he knows you, past experiences and such. if you are dating it could mean its one of those cutesy names

It depends on what kind of nicknames he's giving you, it would be better if you just asked him, but it sounds like he might like you. If he's smiling at you, then obviously your something pretty to look at and if he's giving you nicknames then he's trying to get you to notice him more. It all depends on what you want now, you can either decide it's cute and that you like him too or that you just wanna stay friends with him.

When I was younger I gave all my girlfriends the same nickname. When the phone rang at night I could always answer "I was just thinking about you Princess". It won me amazing 'points' with the girls.
