I am assuming that you'r asking this question because you suspect more than the answer he gave you. If you think he's lying, and just doesn't want to talk to you, then ask him. It could be possible that he is genuinely too busy though. If you love someone, your able to trust them.... if your not able to do that, then something needs to change.
