Did you bruise crack or brake your ribs it hurts if you breath deeply or cough it hurts alot if you lie on your stomach it happened when you jumped forward in soccer to head the ball and got a knee in?
If you're in pain, you should see a doctor and have an x-ray done to check for broken ribs.

i don't know but my ribs hurt soooooo bad i hooope i get an answer too well if your ribs hurt when you run then that's what it felt like for my knees...then you have to go to orthopedics...that's where you do excercizes to help out your ribs or knees or anything that hurts. i did it and now the pain in my knees is gone, but when you stop orthropedics then you have to continue on with the excercized...and if it hurts really bad then you might'be pulled something by your ribs. and if it hurts through your ribs down to your hip then you probably definitely pulled a muscle, but anyways i think you should really go to a doctor.

If you have a dry cough = no phlegm, then a cough suppressant (antitussive) will do you wonders. However, most OTC products are ineffective, so get a prescription or ask your pharmacist for something with codeine. Alternatively, dark chocolate 100g or over can be very effective.

It's possible that you could have a chest infection, but I highly doubt so it could just be that you have stretched that area too much recently and it hurts. If it still does after several days, best get checked out by a doctor :) Could possibly be bruised ribs, when I was 5 I was in this condition for about a week and when it started seriously hurting my mom took me to the doctor to get an x-ray and I had 3 bruised ribs from falling from a tree, best talk to your doctor about it :)
