In the trunk there is a switch to where you can turn the air leveling system off. You have to do this if you jack the car up for any reason. So if someone forgot to turn it back on it will show disabled. Or if a fuse is blown or a short it would pop up too.
I have a 1987 that is doing the same thing. The computer systems chip is fried. The car runs fine and most everything works. But, lately, the suspension won't charge while driving and will fault until the car is restarted. The odometer also does not display mileage, just the word "error" where the reading would be. My sub-questions to this issue is; Does this systems chip control the transmission shifting to overdrive? And the suspension system? And is it the same performance chip that I see advertised for $69.00?
there is no test for auto climate control, when you turn the ac on it comes on at a certain temp., you adjust the temp. as you see fit the display should already say auto temp.. if you want continuous temp. without it going off just push vent and then auto will go off your display, if im correct.
When the car is moving, the interior lights fade out, right? I just purchased a 1998 Continental and it is doing the same thing. However, my message display says "door ajar" so one of the 3 doors either is not closed or the switch inside the latch is dirty. Sometimes it's the drivers' door, but the display will show "Drivers door ajar". A couple of shots of WD40 in the door latches of all doors will correct that problem.
Remove bulb Remove Bulb? How in the world do you remove a bulb from a digital display? Are you just guessing, or maybe not familiar with the type of display? Yeah like Im going to tear my dash apart on this advice!
I had the same message on my display and the car was lurching like a fuel pump problem or something. I changed the fuel filter and ran cleaner through the fuel system and the error message has never returned. Hope that helps.
The FDR Lincoln K is on display at the Ford Museum in Dearborn Michigan.
For the Kennedy White House, the Secret Service purchased a convertible parade limousine custom built by Hess & Eisenhart of Cincinnati, Ohio from a 1961 Lincoln four-door convertible. Code named the SS-100-X, it was in this car that JFK was assassinated in 1963. By that time, the front of the car had been updated with the grille/headlight/bumper assembly from the 1962 model. After the assassination, the limousine was returned to Hess & Eisenhart, where it was repaired and retrofitted with full armor and a fixed roof. It subsequently continued in service for the White House for many years. This world-famous car is now on display at the Henry Ford Museum in Dearborn, Michigan.
Asquith was PM at the time. The tank was developed in secret in Lincoln ... Where the workforce were told they were building a water tank for Mesopotamia. There's a very good display and very early tank on display in The Museum Of Lincolnshire Life in Lincoln.
yes the light swith turn it to the right.
A Suspension Here the particle size can be viewed by the naked eye. The particles display the tyndal effect where the particles are used as the medium for light rays. The particles also settle down after a short period of time and this mixture can be seperated using a funnel or evaporation(if it is an aqueous solution).
CHECK THE PCM DIODE. Apparently these get loose over time.... I had the same symptoms, car would randomly not start. Drove me crazy for months. Then one day I was pulling the relays in and out and noticed the PCM Diode suddenly made a CLICK when I pushed it down. Apparently it was creeping out of it's socket over the years. All I had to do was push it back in, and voila! problem went away!! Btw, in my car, Lincoln Continental 1999, the diode is to the left of Relay 7 (PCM Relay). This solved the mysterious "GEAR DISPLAY ERROR", CHECK TRACTION CONTROL, etc., and PATS code 16.
