I have the same problem! I liked a boy and my friends told him. Now when he stares at me and we make eye contact, he looks away after a few seconds. I don't know whether he is shy that he likes me too, or trying to figure out if I truly do like him, or if i am a creep. All I can say is be yourself and be comfortable in your own skin. If you think he is attractive ask him out on a date. Just give it time, now that he has the idea in his head that you like him, over time he may start to like you. Take a chance!
