Brochoc - It's probably more likely that this is 'Brocho' without the c at the end. Brocho means blessing and is not an uncommon Hebrew name for a female. Bas - means the 'daughter of' Lebyl - This is a Yiddish name for the father of Brocho, but I'm not very up on Yiddish so I'm not sure what it means. Halevi - This means that the father was a Levite (Levi). The levites served as attendants in the Temple.
The hematocrit is the proportion, by volume, of the blood that consists of red blood cells. The hematocrit (hct) is expressed as a percentage. For example, an hematocrit of 25% means that there are 25 milliliters of red blood cells in 100 milliliters of blood.
45% if the formed elements are erythrocytes
Multifocal pneumonia means that there are patches of pneumonia throughout your lungs as opposed to lobar pneumonia which is contained in one spot.
usually peripheral edema is cause by right sided heart failure . people with COPD have polycythemia , means high level of RBCs , means high level of hemoglobin . when hemoglobin is high , hematocrit is high also . People who have a high hematocrit count may be at higher risk for heart problems
Bibasal pneumonia means that there is pneumonia present in both lower lobes of the lungs. The standard treatment for bacterial bibasal pneumonia is antibiotics.
It is the percentage of red blood cells in the blood. 44.4% is close to normal.
The hematocrit calculates the percentage of red blood cells in the plasma. The term hematocrit means to separate blood. Brain hemorrhage is caused by an artery in the brain bursting and causing bleeding in surrounding tissues. A hematocrit that is done immediately after a hemorrhage does not show any signs of RBC loss because at the time of the hemorrhage, plasma and red blood cells are lost in equal proportions.
HO, often written H/O, means "history of." For instance, it might say in a patient chart, "h/o herniorrhaphy 1972, pneumonia 1984, malaria 1992."
It means patient died
Superimposed pneumonia means that a person was initially diagnosed with pneumonia but then contracted some sort of infection. This most likely occurred because of a weakened immune system and a predisposition to infection because of the pneumonia.
