carry out a specific task
Depends on what type of memory you are talking about...
RAM or Hard Drive.
I'll explain both for you...
RAM is the equivalent to the 'short term memory' of our own brain. The more RAM a computer has, the more tasks it can run at the same time. RAM cannot store files permanently and as soon as you power down the computer everything stored in the RAM goes. Things like the operating system, background programs e.g. antivirus software, and programs such as word or internet explorer are all loaded into the RAM when you open them. In short the more RAM you have, the more you can do at the same time and the faster the computer can do it.
Hard Drive memory is the equivalent to the 'long term memory' of our own brain. The more HD (hard drive) space a computer has the more permanent files it can store. In general HD memory is much slower than RAM but when you shut the computer down the HD memory is retained. By adding a bigger HD you effectively increase the maximum storage area of the computer so you can keep more files, pictures, videos, etc... but this wont speed up your system.
t also ends up the sharing of memory of the computer RAM for the display graphics. it also enables the computer to have graphics memory depending on the
graphics media accelerator or in other words graphics card or video card. a hardware for computer to boost up the speed of the display graphics of the computer. it also ends up the sharing of memory of the computer RAM for the display graphics. it also enables the computer to have graphics memory depending on the memory of the graphics accelerator allowint the computer to have games requiring high graphical memory.
When the computer start all the essential files, to start the operating system load from disk to the memory.Basically the bootstrap program is loaded into the read only memory(ROM) which enables while the computer start.
RAM(random access memory) speeds up a computer's speed when it comes to performing tasks, a hard drive enables it to do hard tasks easily.

how can i get the video memory address in computer?.
When you install more memory into a computer, the computer's memory level becomes higher
Computer memory is a form of computer data storage, which takes the form of integrated circuits. There are two types of computer memory: Random-access memory (RAM) and Read-only memory (ROM).
A computer needs memory to store data .
ROM is memory the computer will remember. RAM is memory the computer will loss when you turn off the computer.
memory segmentation is the process of dividing the computer memory into different overlapping segments.
