The word鳴らして (narashite) comes from the verb鳴らす (narasu) and can be used to mean 'to ring', 'to sound' and 'to chime' in Japanese.鳴らして (narashite) is in what's called the 'te-form' of a verb, which is used to connect two sentences or two verbs. A translation of鳴らして (narashite) alone may be 'it rings and...'. It's impossible to know for sure without context, as the te-form is tenseless.

Example:誰かがドアのベルを鳴らしている (dareka ga doa no beru o narashite iru) - "Someone is ringing the doorbell."


In the above case,鳴らして connects to the verb いる (iru), which changes the meaning to 'ringing'.
