Anne Boleyn was executed on May 19th, 1536. She didn't have anything tucked under her arms during her execution, but ghost stories about her death include references to her "carrying her head tucked beneath her arm."
Henry executed many people who refused to take the oath required by the First Succession Act, and those who denied he was the Supreme Head of the Church of England, under the Act of Supremacy of 1534. He also executed those who attempted to rise up against him, such as, Robert Aske and his followers. He also executed 2 of his wives, Anne Boleyn and Catherine Howard for treason, and adultery. It is very likely Anne Boleyn was not guilty, at all of the charges though, Catherine was guilty of the charges.
Thomas More was executed under the Treason Act 1534.
Yes. Almost every house had a private loo tucked away under a staircase or in the kitchen. I have seen photos of the excavation of "single seaters" in the sides of buildings with access from the street. Weather there was a door on them is unclear.Yes. Henry VII called his first son Arthur because of his weak claim to the throne. It was propeganda due to the Tudor's (Tewdwr's) Welsh origins. When the Vikings invaded England the Britons were pushed into Wales and they supposedly rallied under King Arthur. The myth goes that the Britons would once again rule the Britain and so the choosing of the name Arthur is in memory of the mythical King. This is just one part of a large propeganda campaign by Henry VII after Bosworth to gain support.
