The Bipartisan Policy Center (BPC) works with Republicans

and Democrats to develop lasting solutions to the key

problems facing the nation.

What sets us apart from other think tanks is that we bring

together all sides - regardless of party affiliation or position

- when tackling a problem. We combine politically balancedpolicymaking with strong, proactive advocacy and outreach. Our solutions come from a process of rigorous analysis, reasoned negotiation, and respectful dialogue.

Founded in 2007 by former Senate Majority Leaders HowardBaker, Tom Daschle, Bob Dole, and George Mitchell, BPC recruits talented leaders -including former elected officials, business leaders, academics, and advocates from all sides of the political spectrum - to work together to create real policy

solutions.

As one of the only Washington, DC-based think tanks that

actively promotes bipartisanship, BPC tackles America’s most

critical issues. Currently, that means a focus on health, energy,

national and homeland security, the economy, housing,

Immigration, and governance.

BPC’s projects, task forces, and experts work tirelessly to find

consensus-driven policy solutions. But the effort doesn’t stop

there. BPC is committed to seeing its policy solutions enacted

into law. Through the Bipartisan Policy Center Advocacy

Network (BPCAN), our (c)(4) affiliate, we engage in advocacy

and strategic outreach to bolster the legislative center and

unite Republicans and Democrats on polarizing issues.
