What does the check light mean on the dash of a 1998 Camry?
The engine control computer has detected a problem. The kind of problem can be found out only when the computer is put into diagnostic mode by someone who knows how to do this. Get the vehicle inspected by a mechanic who has the documentation for your model (or go to an authrorised Toyota dealer's service centre) ASAP as the problem could be serious and lead to engine damage if not repaird. Quite often, however, it's just a failed O2 (oxygen) sensor.
You have Toyota Camry 1998 your Airbag light at the front dash board is not turning ON when you turn on the car. Because of that emission test is failed. How do you fix that?
If a 1989 Toyota Camry has no stop lights but all bulbs and fuses and the stop light switch are OK what else should you check?
Well, as I've owned a Toyota Camry before, my advice would be to you, check for a button with "PWR" on it (usually near the gear shift). Most manual cars will have a "power" and "economy" mode in them. The "PWR" light on the dash probably means that you've got the vehicle in "power" mode. Find the button. Turn it off. Problem Solved :P Have fun!
You have a 1990 toy Camry le when you step on the brakes the light light on dash comes on but you already replaced the bad build and all the light r workingwhats wrong?
When you say the "light on dash" I am assuming your brake warning light. This can be a number of things, not your brake lights. A quick easy check is your fluid level in your master cylinder. A low fluid level will the light come on. When you press your brakes, the fluid level will drop (fluid travelling to the four brakes), when you release the brake fluid is drawn back into the master cylinder…
The process of removing a 1998 Toyota Camry ignition switch requires taking apart the steering column and lower dash, as well as several of the under-dash relays. The ignition switch is connected to the key cylinder and cabin wire harness. A faulty ignition switch will prevent the car from starting.
