c series is 2 wheel drive vehicles,and k series is 4 wheel drive,i think anyway-thats how i have come to understand it- if it says c/k,it means the part is the same whether its 2 or 4 wheel drive. Incidently, the same is also true of S/T-10 and -15 series trucks. The "S" is 2wd, the "T" is 4wd. You won't hear that much unless you're looking for parts - pretty much everybody else just calls them "S10's".
