I have a 1984 Corvette and the alarm went off. Is there a switch, key or button that I can turn the alarm off? Thank you! The alarm is reset by inserting the door key into the drivers door and turning the key.
2nd Drivers door motor will need to be added in addition two relays that will be controlled from lock-unlock pulse from alarm module or after market module. Relays also feed power to door motor.
The Drivers Door Module or Passenger Door Module on a 2003 suburban is also known as the "window / door lock" switch. These modules are located on each respective door, i.e. driver side door or passenger side door. It is the module that has the door lock/unlock switch and window up/down switch. Hope this helps...
you close the hood all the doors and use the key and lock and the drivers door then reopen the drivers door
Try putting the key in the drivers door and locking it manually after you close the door. If you have a custom alarm then you have to play with the alarm button.
In many cases you can either push the "Alarm" switch on your remote car door opener (If it has one) or use the door key to lock/unlock the drivers door. This will usually "reset" the alarm. TommyTrouble
You can not disable it. You can disarm it by unlocking the drivers door with the key.
