"I saw you do it, so don't try to deny it!" 2. to refuse to allow somone to do something - I submitted the claim to my unsurance company, but my request for coverage was denied. 3. to refuse or admit to yourself I realized that I was denying my feelings. 4. to decide not t have something that you would like - Following a strict diet meant I had to deny myself many high -calorie snacks and desserts.
