So-called "mind tricks" are very common across the internet. They are a source of entertainment, mostly, mixed with some educating questions and answers.
A common "test" offered is to have you count a letter, such as the letter 'f'. Here is an example sentence:
Seemingly floating above the freeway, the public of Fresno, California saw a couple having a frivolous day of sky-diving, due having a rich uncle who died of old age at 90 and left the lovebirds a small fortune.
The second part asks how many you counted, and assigns a random rating to your answer, such as your brain being Excellent if you found all the 'f' letters. Here is the answer:

Most people ignore the letter 'f' in the word 'of'.
