Vitamin D helps regulate your immune system and is the life cycle of your cells.

Your body will get this vitamin from the sun, but if you are not out in the sun much or like me, cover yourself with mineral sunblock, then you should take a vitamin D supplement.

If you are taking a multivitamin, or perhaps calcium supplements, then they may already have vitamin D in them and you don't need any more.

Vitamin D works with calcium and together help to strengthen your bones.
