There is no "ignition switch" under the hood, it is located on your steering coulum in the car.
An ignition coil generally looks like a cylinder with a second cylindrical temp at one end. On top of that same and, there are two primary terminals. Inside of an ignition coil is an iron core surrounded by coils of thin wire.

looks like an elbow that is flat two prongs on right elbow an one on left
IT DOESN'T HAVE A DISTRIBUTOR. THE IGNITION COIL AND PLUGS ARE UNDER A COVER ON THE TOP OF THE ENGINE.
check your ignition coil, if it's not coming out of there you need to look into a new ignition coil , check ignition circuit next
you'll need a diagram see if your local library has a free professional shop manual to look at... dave
