This isn't actually an Eating Disorder as such. It's a phobia called Citophobia (also Sitophobia or Sitiophobia).
It doesn't mean the person doesn't want to eat, but that they are too terrified. An Eating Disorder where the sufferer does not eat is usually more related to the body, and therefore not a phobia.
One can also have a fear of swallowing, where the food isn't an issue. This is called Phagophobia.

It could mean several things - 1) A binge eating disorder. The following is from the Mayo-Clinic website. Binge-eating disorder is a serious eating disorder in which you frequently consume unusually large amounts of food. Almost everyone overeats on occasion, such as having seconds or thirds of a holiday meal. But for some people, overeating crosses the line to binge-eating disorder and it becomes a regular occurrence, shrouded in secrecy. When you have binge-eating disorder, you may be deeply embarrassed about gorging and vow to stop. But you feel such a compulsion that you can't resist the urges and continue binge eating. Although binge-eating disorder is the most common of all eating disorders, it's still not considered a distinct psychiatric condition. But if you have binge-eating disorder symptoms, treatment can help you. 2) Hormonal imbalances that could lead to fatty-food cravings (high ghrelin). These hormonal balances could also cause some of the depression you feel when you consider how you look and the lengths you want to take to look better and the unrealistic standards you are holding yourself to. There is hope. It won't make you look better quickly, but it can help with the food cravings and slight depression and it is healthy and medically safe. B-Complex vitamins help control hormonal balances in the brain and they have actually helped me overcome over-eating, cravings, and depression. They also help boost the metabolism ;)
