VAG405 works fine
has the skopower steering fault.
My Fabia estate has a orange sign which lights on switch on and goes out after car diagnostic check prior to engine start. The steering has an electric powered system. I would suggest if light remains on a fault in power steering and for safety sake get a Skoda dealer to check
EPC on a Skoda Fabia's rev counter stands for "Electronic Power Control." It indicates a fault in the engine management system, typically related to the throttle or other engine components. When the EPC light is illuminated, it suggests that the vehicle may enter a reduced power mode to prevent further damage, and it's advisable to have the vehicle diagnosed by a professional.

To read fault codes without a diagnostic reader on a Skoda Octavia, you can use the onboard diagnostics (OBD) system. Turn the ignition key to the "on" position without starting the engine, then press the accelerator pedal three times within five seconds. After this, the dashboard will display the fault codes through the warning lights, which you can interpret based on the flashing patterns. Make sure to consult a manual or online resources for specific code meanings.
OBD1 code reader. Any brand will work well on this system. Very simple system that requires no sophisticated reader.
Piston ring fault. Common on 1.4 16v Fabia engine code AUB. Note that the combustion gasses will cause blowby on piston blowing excessive oil vapour up the crankcase breather pipe and into air intake system on cars with this. You will see excessively dirty throttle body. Oil consumption will also be excessive.
there is a answer on robbietherobot.com. Edited: No there isn't. That's spam.
To reset the engine management light on a Skoda Fabia, you can use an OBD-II scanner to clear the fault codes after addressing the underlying issue. Alternatively, disconnecting the car battery for about 15 minutes may also reset the light, but this method can reset other settings as well. Always ensure that any underlying problems are fixed before resetting the light to avoid potential issues. After resetting, the light should turn off if no active issues remain.
What Octavia? How did it first happen? Do they still work or not at all)? Pls. be specific to get a usable answer.
I need to know the computer fault codes I need numbered bios codes and not bleep codes
First you must determine what the fault code is. Obtain an OBDII code reader. These can be purchased from most auto parts stores, some will even run this for free. Correct the problem then using the OBDII reader erase the fault code.
