A decomposer
If nutrients are not released then life processes will cease and no new organisms will be formed. Bacteria feeds on carbon compounds to break down the dead organisms and release nutrients.
Nutrients are constantly being passed between organisms and the environment. This happens when decomposers break down the dead organisms putting it back in the soil.
When they decompose, they release nutrients back into the soil.
Decomposers.

When organisms die decomposers, decompose them and then they get stored back into the soil given as nutrients.
Scavenger.
Decomposers get their nutrients from dead and decaying organisms.
Animals which feed on the bodies of dead organisms, or carrion, are known as scavengers.
Decomposers- Convert waste into nutrients that can can be used by plants Scavengers- Go around and eat the remains of the already dead organisms.
