Eternity rings, having evolved from wedding rings, are also worn on the "ring finger", which is normally the third finger of the left hand.
* Generally an Eternity Ring is worn on another finger where it is on it's own and shows up more than crowded in with an engagement ring and wedding band, but there are no rules that you can't wear it on your wedding band finger and it should go below the wedding band and engagement ring.
why shouldn't a ring be worn on a pinky finger? if you like it do it as long as its not a safety risk at work.

A pinky ring is worn on the pinky finger of either the right or left hand. The pinky finger is the smallest finger and located the farthest from the thumb.

you can but a wedding ring is really the only ring that's supposed to be worn on your left finger... on your right ring finger it is fine though
