The camera will mount on the desktop as a USB drive. The videos can be imported directly into iMovie (assuming it is a fairly recent version). You should probably avoid recording video in the WVGA format which is not iMovie friendly and will need converting.
You should be able to find the answer in the iMovie 9 guide at the URL posted below. Copy and paste the URL into your browser address bar. The link will open in PDF format and includes the entire iMovie Manual.http://www.cctvcambridge.org/files/forms/5imovie.pdf
You should not be downloading music on the internet to drag into iMovie. You should be on Napster or iTunes where you can legally buy the music to drag into iMovie.
iMovie automatically saves changes unless there is something wrong with your computer in which case you should see a professional.
Once you open Imovie it should be right there just click on it. If not you might have deleted it. There is no way to get it back
This site should steer you in the right direction to find the answer to your import issues in iMovie: http://jeffcarlson.typepad.com/imovievqs/
To get a movie from YouTube into iMovie you will need to convert it into an iMovie friendly format. There are various ways and software tools to do this - the Perian plug-in and VLC may prove useful if you do not have Quicktime Pro (See links below) 1 Open the YouTube page, with the video you want, in Safari. 2 Open Safari's Activity window from the Window menu 3 Find details of the movie page, find the largest file there and double click on it. This will be the movie itself which should now download and is usually called get_video. 4 Once it is downloaded you need to rename it and add .flv onto the end - moviename.flv 5 Open this movie in Quicktime player (if you have upgraded to Pro version) or in VLC. 6 Export the movie in an iMovie friendly format such as mpeg. 7 Import the movie into iMovie.
Without buying Quicktime 7 Pro, you should have iMovie '06 HD or later. iMovie HD ('06) allows you to convert whatever video is in that file to an iPod format by going to Share, and then click iPod (if iPod does not show up as an option, click on Quicktime, and then change it to iPod through the top bar of options). This will transfer the video in iMovie to iTunes and will work on your iPod in amazing quality.
This will vary depending on the version of iMovie you are using. The general editing menu (where you can edit titles, add video effects, etc.) should be a prominent tab labeled Editing as soon as you open up a blank iMovie screen.
It depends who you are.
Yes you can , There are so many different ways to edit on imovie! Autotuning ,cutting clips ,etc.! Anyways if you look up on Youtube how to do certain things with Imovie you'll learn. To export a video is simple! Open Imovie and where you would turn your mac off should be the words Imovie ,file ,edit ,view , text ,share ,window , help. Click share and press Export Imovie. You can also look this up on Youtube if this dose not make sense.
