One goes from the primer bulb straight to the gas tank, one goes from the carb to the gas tank with a small filter on the end. And sometimes there's a third one and it goes straight up from the carb and sits somewhere behind the outside of the carb with a small plastic filter looking thing on it.
Make sure you have the lines wright the skiney line from in the tankgoes to the top nipple on the carb the over flow line goes to the long nipple on the primer bulb and the other line off the primer bulb goes to bottom nipple on carb
trash in carb or muffler stopping up.
unit has had fuel sitting in it, carb is plugged, fuel lines probably rotted, fuel filter hardened. always use fuel stabilizers, this will prevent it from happening, but it is for sure a carb problem.
long line with filter goes from gas tank into carb shorter line goes to (INLET) suction side of primer bulb 3rd line goes from OUTLET side of primer bulb to other carb fitting
You may have a crack and/or leak in either the bulb itself or the fuel lines between the bulb and the gas tank and carb.
sounds like the carb needle valve is stuck or something is stuck in it. not a do it yourself repair, might need new carb. good luck
It sucks gas from the gas tank to the carborator using nothing but suction In general the primer bulb draws fuel from the tank through the carb and then returns it to the tank. Look for "carb" and "tank" on the primer bulb and make the respective connection. A line should come from the tank to the carb. Another from the carb to the primer. and another back to the tank.

byrumjr the line starts with the fuel filter in the tank and travels up to the carburetor out of the carburetor into the primer bulb, out of the primer bulb back in the tank raylago fuel line routing is as follows for all 2 cycle with primer ball external to the carb. remember the fuel is sucked into the carb, not puished or blown into the carb. the filtered line from the fuel tank goes to the "in" side of the carb. this is usually right next to the high speed adjustment screw on a walbro carb. the "out" line from the carb goes to the suction side of the primer ball, the output of the primer ball goes back to the return line in the fuel tank. if you have to run the choke and the carb high speed screw will not adjust properly, reverse the in and out lines to the carb.
yes... near primer bulb
Here you go (just learned this the hard way): # 2 lines go to the fuel tank: 1 all the way to the bottom, this is the fuel supply line and should have a good fuel filter on it; the other should only go in to the tank 1/2" to 3/4", this is the fuel return # the above mentioned fuel supply line connects direct to the carb on the chain side of the saw # another third hose connects the carb (on the starter side) to the inlet valve of the primer bulb (this is the shorter protrusion of the primer bulb) # the outlet valve on the primer bulb connects to the fuel return hose that goes back to the tank good luck
Well, I just figured out why my Toro Weedwacker wouldn't run, The fuel hoses were backward, My brother had it for a while then told me it stopped running. He apparently tried to FIX it but accidentally reversed the fuel lines so.1. Fuel comes out of the tank and goes directly into the bottom of the Carb,2. Fuel is pulled through the carb from the side tube on the carb into the priming bulb.3. Once the priming bulb is full the fuel is then returned directly to the tank through a hose which protrudes into the tank about 2 ".4. Ran fine after I got the hook up correct.
