you got a '76 Dodge? share pictures please! sorry, can't help re fuse stuff - tin foil works for me tho ... Don't use tin foil if the fuse is blown, it is there for a reason, that's why they are called fuse's. Either the fuse was weak or there is a snort in the wire. To answer your question,( J ) is the one that is for your instrument panel lights- radio light, it is a 4 amp fuse. All the fuse's in your fuse block should be good and all places filled don't leave any places' empty. If you want to test the fuse, get a 12 volt test light and see if you have power at the top of the fuse, (that is power into the block). If you have power in put your test light on the bottom of the fuse you should have power coming out. If not fuse is blown. To test some of the fuses you will need to have your ignition on, others are hot all the time. With a class fuse you should be able to see that it is blown, because it will be black. Never put a higher amp fuse in it place.
how do change brake pads on a 2002 dodge pickup 4x4
blown bulb due to short circuit, faulty ground, or broken wire
A blown fuse can cause the dashlights and taillights to stop working on a 2001 Dodge 1500.
It powers interior items such as dome lights and radio memory.
On a 2000 Dodge Ram, "no bus" means the communication network between modules has quit working. Any module on the network or the wiring between them can be the cause of the malfunction.
I have a 1995 neon dodge and my dash lights will not come on or my tail lights and every time i change the airbag fuse and turn on the car the airbag fuse blows.
