The rear reservoir is part of the front reservoir with a separate pump. The pump is located at the bottom of the reservoir closest to the left front fender. The hose then goes through the firewall up over head between the roof and the headliner then comes out on the upper left hand side of the rear hatch. Hope this helps
On a 1996 Ford Escort : The power steering fluid goes in the power steering fluid reservoir , at the front of the engine compartment , on the passenger side of the vehicle ( looking from the front of the vehicle it is the reservoir on the RIGHT) * With the 1.9 liter engine the reservoir on the left is the engine coolant reservoir and with the 1.8 liter engine the reservoir on the left is the windshield washer fluid reservoir , but with both engines the power steering fluid reservoir is the container to the RIGHT , looking from the FRONT of the vehicle
Upper left engine compartment. Little yellow reservoir, with wide cap, no dipstick, but has mesurements on side of reservoir.
In the rear of the engine compartment on the left side
in the engine bay left hand side
same reservoir as the front washer located in front left side of engine compartment.
It is polite to put it on the left side. (Your drink goes on the right, and if you're at a restaurant then your bread goes on the left.)
Lower left front side of engine.
No picture, but all thermostats go with the spring side towards the motor. On thermostats I changed, there were words on them and stated which side goes up
US flag goes b the viewer's left
If it's anything like my 1998 Explorer sport here it goes. Of course pop the hood. Stand on the right side of the engine compartment where the washer fluid reservoir is. While looking at the washer fluid reservoir look on the lower left side of the reservoir. There will be a small black item with an electrical connection and two hoses attached to it. That is the washer pump.
