Generally speaking there is no benefit to "upgrading" the LCA's on a Cherokee that is used for on street driving with reg tires and no lift. If you're using wider tires on your Jeep, you can prevent the tire from rubbing on the LCA at full lock depending on the tire size & the style of the LCA you use. If your vehicle is used for going offroad, a good quality boxed aftermarket LCA will be stronger than stock & resist trail damage. Grand Cherokee LCA's make a good budget upgrade for a Cherokee. Take my advice & join one of the Forums I mention below. You'd be surprised at how many times this question has been asked. You have to lower the tank and remove it from the top of the tank.
The 2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee transmission control module is located on the back of the transmission. The transmission control module will be in the upper left-hand corner of the transmission.
