I personal think that 1 of Harriet Tubman's most important overcoming obstacle was when she had escaped slavery alone with no one there with her. Another important overcoming obstacle was when she got out of slavery and into the South were there was no slavery and didn't have no one to welcome her to the land of freedom. Her exact words to this topic was: "I had crossed the line. I was free, but there was no one to welcome me to the land of freedom. I was a stranger in a strange land."
