For seven days, the Mexican Army fought hard at the walls of the Alamo. On March 6th 1836, they broke through and ended that battle by killing all of the Texan men. 182 men (Our whole army) died that day, while over 600 on the Mexican side were killed. We wounded there army and also the loss at the Alamo ignited a flame that led to the winning of our independents from Mexico in the revolution.

What happpened at the Alamo where Davy Crokket and William B. Travis died fighting along with many others who sacrificed their life to change our life.

Many belive Crokket died fighting others belive he saw SANTA ANNA and had an oppertunityto live.Anyway the Alamo was a mission not meant to be a fort.

Santa Anna knew this he told his troops to go to the North wall which was the weakest wall this is how Santa Anna defeated Texas troops. But don't think that Texas troops didn't die fighting for our freedom we are who we are today becase of them. besides Santa Anna had more than 1000 troops and was reciving reinforcments everyday , Texas troops had less than 200 troops but they still gave up a great fight
