i am a nigerian and im presently living in Nigeria so i can tell u the answer as if i were there because thats what they teach us mainly in school .when the brits colonised nigeria we couldnt even use the bathroom without going to ask lord lugard they were in charge of everything we owned before and after they came. the only good thing is that they taught us proper english
