Positive Crankcase Ventilation (PCV). The PCV valve acts as a vent to the upper engine removing excess combustion gases via vacuum lines that plug into the valve. A dirty or restricted pcv valve and cause excess pressure on internal oil seals and gaskets.
It's going to be off the valve cover(s) one or the other. Plugged right into it.

Pull straight up on the PCV valve to remove it from the valve cover, then pull off the hose from the PCV valve, install the new one by doing the opposite of removal.
PCV valve is located under the wiper blade assembly and cowling on top of the back valve cover. Raise the hood of the vehicle. Locate the PCV valve on the top center of the valve cover. Pull the hose off the top of the PCV valve. Pull the valve straight out of the valve cover. Insert the new PCV valve straight into the valve cover. Push the rubber hose onto the top of the new PCV valve until it stops.

It is threaded into the valve cover. There is a rubber tube that attaches to the valve cover - pull off the tube (there may be a clamp) - then unscrew the PCV valve with a wrench.
PCV valve should be on bottom right side of motor. to the right of the last spark plug. Pull it out with car off. It comes out with a hose on it. Insert new PCV valve into hose. Insert PCV into open hole.
On the 3.9L engine, you can find the PCV valve on the left front valve cover. Just follow your PCV hose which you can gently pull off the top of the valve, and you will be able to give the valve a slight turn to pop out.
The PCV valve is located on the passenger side valve cover, towards the front of the car, which should have a small rubber hose coming off of it.
remove the old pcv valve by pulling it straight out of the valve cover, pull the hose off the other end. Installation is the reverse of removal.

It's located on one of the valve covers. The breather is on one and the PCV valve is located on the other one. and it will have a hose coming off it. Hope that helps.
