Hysteroscopy is usually the safest way to remove an embedded IUD. Rather than surgery, a scope is inserted into the uterus, and the doctor removes the IUD during an outpatient procedure.
From your doctor.
Yes, you can get an IUD check during your period.
IUD can increase infection but it is from sexual activity introducing the bacteria not menstruation. You must seek a doctor's care if you have a pelvic infection.
Find another doctor
My doctor told me that that never happens. In the 70's there was an IUD that was made with a braided string that held bacteria causing infections (basically TSS) and sterilized ppl, so it's a warning on all of the rest of them. S
I would consult a health clinic and ask them to get a 2nd opinion. You will need to find a doctor that it is not in the same health system as they usually stick together. Alternately, get an ultrasound and find out if the IUD is at the fundus. If so, the doctor didn't move the IUD.
Regular IUD checks are not necessary. Typically you get checked just once after insertion.
you are dumb.
You should contact your doctor right away. An IUD can interfere with a healthy pregnancy.
You need to see your doctor.
The Merina and other hormone secreting IUD's can have some symptoms of early pregnancy, if your period is 7 days late call your doctor.
