Your body burns your muscles, NOT fat like common belief, because muscles have more calories than fat and so your body goes for them. Try not to eat before you do sport. After is fine, as this is the best way to lose more fat and do sports when you're not hungry or full.

You will obviously have less energy. I have experimented the effects of eating and not eating before exercise. I concluded that when I have something to eat before exercise (not necessarily right before exercise) I am able to run for a longer period than when I do not consume anything.

Exercise is always good for you but why are you not eating healthy foods? If you know you are not doing so, then why dont you look into how to improve your diet as you do into exercising your body. You dont have to eat hamburgers with mayo, sauce and cheese every day if you know better. Have a good bowl of cereal for breakfast, a salad for lunch and a supper with veggies and lean meat. What happens is that you can exercise but not give your body enough good nutrients to keep you healthy. There are enough sites, on line, that can guide you in the right direction. Keep you heart and arteries in good shape and, with the exercise, you will feel better and live a better life.
