How do you know when a question is harmful and should be deleted?

Guidelines for Harmful Questions to Delete are in the link below.

What kinds of questions should go in Harmful Questions to Delete?

The harmful questions to delete (trash completely) catch-all is where questions are kept before they are permanently deleted. They are reviewed by advanced supervisors before a decision is made about their final fate.Questions which should be trashed here are:~ Questions which contain the full name of a non-celebrity.~ Questions which contain personal details such as addresses or phone numbers.~ Questions which are complete gibberish and therefore unlikely to ever be asked again.~ Questions which need to be removed because they are duplicates (a bug)Questions which do not fall into the above list should not be trashed to harmful questions to delete.Questions which should NOT be sent to harmful questions to delete are:~ Questions with not enough information to answer.~ Questions asking about illegal acts.~ Questions cyberbullying celebrities.~ Questions cyberbullying someone giving just the first or last name (rather than full name).~ And so on.These have their own specific catch-alls.Many supervisors think choosing "trash completely" to harmful questions to delete will automatically delete the question permanently - it doesn't.The harmful questions to delete category is patrolled by advanced supervisors with extra powers, such as the ability to delete questions. These advanced supervisors will regularly review the questions trashed to the category and either delete them, move them to another catch-all or untrash them. You must never trash questions to the catch-all (or anywhere else for that matter) just because you don't agree with them (we see this a lot with homosexuality or religious related questions) - this is a violation of the Supervisor guidelines.Any question that can be given an answer or re-worded, should be answered or re-worded rather than trashed (ie - badly spelled questions). It is fine to have badly-worded questions as alternates, as this is actually beneficial.Trashing unnecessarily to harmful questions to delete will not only increase the workload of the advanced supervisors, but it will also earn you a slap on the wrist from a Community Assistant, who may recommend that you re-do your supervisor mentoring, regardless of whether you're a supervisor or senior supervisor.

How do you delete other people questions?

Questions on WikiAnswers can not be deleted by regular contributors. Supervisors can trash questions into a catchall category, but only advanced supervisors can permanently delete questions off the site.

What are clean-up questions?

When working in the alternates of a Q&A, it can sometimes become rather difficult to wade through a huge list of alternates. It often requires several passes through the alternate wordings list which can be very time consuming when the alternates lists are as huge as our catch-all questions (in the thousands). This is why many of our supervisors have created themselves a clean-up question. Dealing with alternates in smaller loads in order to distribute them into their proper homes is much quicker and easier. The question can be moved from category to category to split off loads of alternates in the right category and manipulated for alternate distribution as needed. Please use the format "What are [username]'s questions?" or "What are [username] questions?" for personal clean-up questions and place them in Harmful Questions to Delete. Provide in the answer of the question that it is your working clean-up question and protect it. Protecting it will keep users from being able to split off your alternates while you are working with them and will keep users from inappropriately "answering" your question. This will keep the catch-all questions category clean and prevent deletion of these clean-up questions.Since these questions are housed in Harmful Questions to Delete, it is extremely important that your clean-up question follows this format so that Admins will recognize it and will not delete it from the database.Admins: Do not delete any supervisor clean-up questions without first consulting the supervisor who owns it.

How do you delete questions in this app?

How do you delete a question if you are not a Community Assistant?

Only certain users are able to delete questions. At this time, it is not possible for any user except those chosen few to delete questions completely from the site. Questions are not deleted often, nor are they meant to be. However, we do have a process for bad/inappropriate questions. If you think a question qualifies for deletion, place it in the "catch-all category" or notify a supervisor. If you are a supervisor and think a question needs to be deleted (see catch-all and trashing guidelines), simply trash the question completely. It will then be reviewed and possibly deleted.
