If your seatbelt is unfastened and the driver suddenly steps on the brake real hard, you will fly forward and go crashing into whatever is in front of you. Then you will complain, "That hurt." I will then tell you, "If we would have been in an accident, you would have done much more than hit the dash board. You would have flown through the windshield. Now! Will you fasten your seat belt." After a few times more with me hitting the brakes and you getting bashed up, you might get the message. You may not to experience stopping in a few inches in a head on collision and getting killed because you will not wear your seat belt.
