Your heart responds to the respiratory demands of the exercising body by increasing the rate of blood pumping. That is why the pulse increases during exercise. As the heart is itself comprised primarily of muscle tissue, the heart participates in the exercise too, and over time becomes stronger and somewhat larger.

Depending on the level of exercise, the heart works harder during exercise and over time grows larger. This is known as left ventricular hypertrophy (LVH). The output of the heart is increased with each stroke, and usually the pulse rate will decrease. Most conditioned athletes will have a low pulse rate at rest. In the 50s is common. If it gets very low this condition is known as bradycardia.

What are the immediate effects of exercise on heart rate of human?

the heart will implode No it wont. the realy long term effects on your heart are as follows * cardiac hypertrophy (growth in the myocardium muscle that the heart is made from) * increased stroke volume (more blood pumped per beat) * lower resting blood preasure * increased cardiac output (blood pumped per min) * lower heart ratewhile resting and active * quicker recovery rate (heart returns to normal speed after exercise faster) * incrase in blood flow It also dramatically lowers the chance of getting coronary heart disease. Once your heart rate drops bellow 60bpm it is said to be more efficient, this state is called brandycardia.

Is it good for heart rate to decrease fast after exercise?

as you exercise you heart muscle builds up therefore your heart doesn't have to do as much work to pump blood around the body so as you build up your heart muscle. therefore as you exercise your heart becomes stronger so your recovery rate is quicker.
