You will get a warning light on dash and motor will probaly run rough and rich, meaning fuel ,air mixture will be out of wack and motor will put more fuel into compensate and to make sure motor does not run lean. the exhaust pipe will be very black and maybe black smoke. The hotter the motor gets the rougher it will run until spark plugs are clogged with excess carbon from unburnt fuel.
your turbo wont work, ie loss of power etc.
There are 4 different codes regaurding the MASS AIR FLOW SENSOR. P0068 P0101 Po102 P0103
In a 1998 Mercury Villager, the mass air flow sensor is located in the air intake tube. The air intake tube goes from the air box to the intake.
What will a bad mass air flow sensor cause? Mass Air flow sensor regulates amount of air coming in to the amount of fuel being used. If this sensor is bad you would have either a overly rich or lean fuel condition. Check the fuel pump as mass air flow sensor has no moving parts and rarely goes out.
It breaks.
It does not have a mass air flow sensor. It does not have a mass air flow sensor.
It is built into the Mass Air Flow sensor. That is in the air duct hose that comes from the air filter box and goes to the engine.
It doesn't have a mass air flow sensor. It doesn't have a mass air flow sensor.
It does not use a mass air flow sensor. It does not use a mass air flow sensor.
The mass air flow sensor is located just after the air cleaner, before the rubber hose that goes to the intake.A little black box attached to an aluminum ,with a 3 wire connecter.
