if the leak goes internal you get water in the oil and tha will kill the motor fix right now! if it is external watch the coolent level and fix when you can. to tell if it is internal pull the oil dip stick if it looks fomy like a root beer float it is internal
Yes. Antifreeze is actually pumped through the intake manifold. If the gasket is bad it is possible that it leaks out
You either have a blown intake gasket or a blown head gasket.
intake gasket or head gasket
either you blew a rod or a gasket.
Probably a gasket leak. Could be the intake gaskets or the thermostat gasket.
It is common for the intake manifold gasket to leak antifreeze from the corners of the intake. Need to replace intake gasket. Be sure to look closely at the intake were the gasket seals against it for pitts in the intake. There is a heater hose that goes into the intake on right rear corner in the back, but uo on top of intake. check closely. most time it is caused by intake gasket failure
Yes, you need to replace your intake gaskets.
If it is leaking from a bad head gasket, it is because of a bad head gasket. If it is leaking from a bad intake manifold gasket, it is because of a bad intake manifold gasket.
check your oil to see if you have coolant in it. if you do your intake gasket needs changed.
Is it water ( condensation ) or is it antifreeze. If it is antifreeze it should be smoking WHITE out of the exhaust pipe and if it is then you have either a blown head gasket or a leaking Intake manifold gasket.
You did not say what size engine are what it is in, so I'll try my best to give you the correct answer. If you have a v8 or v6 engine, Then it is very common for the intake manifold gasket to leak engine coolant into the lifter gallery when the intake gasket blows. It is not common what so ever for a head gasket to allow antifreeze to get into the oil when they blow. Need to check intake gasket first. If we did not help you then ask your question again.
