This is a serious condition - you need to have your brain serviced or replaced immediately.
If the rotors are worn too thin, they could snap apart while braking, leaving you with no braking power at all.
Warped brake rotors will cause pulsation (or vibrations at high speeds) when the brakes are applied. This may also go on to misalign the calipers and cause other vibration related damages.
mine did the same thing and would not stop until i changed the brake lines also, then it stoped.
If you feel a pulsation on your brake pedal this most likely is the sign of warped rotors this happens when the brakes get to hot(the rotors will have a buish glassy look in certain spots). I suggest you bring it in to a mechanic to verify the problem. In most cases you can cut the rotors and the issue will be gone.
25 rotors. Cavaliers have 25 rotors on the car.
Possible wrong rotors???
this could be your brake rotors are warped. i had this problem and replaced the rotors and then it was fine.
If you notice shaking as you apply the brakes this is generally caused by warped brake rotors. This happens as the brake rotors wears. Sometimes people take shortcuts by just replacing the brake pads and machining the rotors but as the rotor becomes thinner it cannot absorb the high heat that they operate in. Most likely this is the problem.
removeing bake pads and roader from a 99 ponitcia gtp do yu have any pic to show how
Because of high chlorine content in the mud (chlorine as a stripping agent for chrome)
I would guess it probably happens when your stopping from a higher rate of speed. The extra stress on the rotors overheat them, temporarily warping them. Replace them if so. IF IT ONLY HAPPENS WHEN YOU BRAKE HARD IT MEANS THE ABS IS KICKING IN AND IF IT HAPPENS DURRING LIGHT BRAKEING IT MEANS THE ASB MODULE MIGHT BE GOING UP $$$$$
no nothing special, your typical rotors will do. no nothing special, your typical rotors will do. no nothing special, your typical rotors will do. no nothing special, your typical rotors will do. no nothing special, your typical rotors will do.
