what happens if the transaxle range sensor goes bad?
When the oxygen sensor goes bad, the check engine light goes on.
A faulty intake air temperature sensor can cause a number of issues in a vehicle. Among these problems are taking longer to start on cold mornings and increased consumption of fuel.
It breaks.
It means that the circuit is open that goes to the temp sensor by the grill. Either the wires are broke or the sensor is bad.
Bad temp sensor. Bad temp sensor.
If the sensor is erratic, then the engine could shake or sometimes not run. If the sensor is completely bad, then the car wont start at all.
Nothing...........there is none.
The check engine light will illuminate. The code(s) will direct you to the faulty sensor.
When an oxygen sensor goes bad a car will burn gas at a higher than normal rate because it will not be producing as much power as before. The oxygen sensor checks the amount of exhaust.
Should be the same thing. The only other temperature sensor is the one for intake manifold. That should just register the incomming air temp for the computer. Maybe the gauge is just bad. It happens.
Your temperature gauge does not work, and the engine might run rough.
