Answer
If you marry a man 16 years older than you are it won't take long for you to be sorry for such a decision. The reasons being is that you are in one age category and he's in another. There will be times when you won't understand him and times when he will be tired and not want to go out and dance for example. As the two of you age, how will you both communicate? You can't relate to him and quite probably he won't be able to relate to you because of your age differences. This doesn't mean that it can't work, but you would be far better off trying to find someone your own age.
I know of a couple who have 30 years in the difference, but they aren't happy in life and have little in common. She is in her eighties he's in his early 50's. He's strong and healthy, she's old and feeble. Perhaps you can take your answer from here. Get involved with someone close to your age and enjoy life.
Who can stop you?
As long as your of age.
No. For a man to marry a woman up to about 10-15 years older than he is, is practically ideal.
