∙ 13y agoThey should mix well together for Dachshunds are very well-behaved and Golden Retrievers are very friendly and lovable. If you get a tall Golden Retriever, the Dachshund, like Beagles, may be a little intimidated and may even try to be the "top dog." Of course the bigger and fun-loving (if your Golden Retriever isn't very fun-loving and cooperative you might have some issues with the sharing and such) dog will have none of that!
