Human beings - As population increase, the fastest it has ever done as far as we know, other forms of life see their niches and territories shrink... whether it is animals or plants life, the planet is limited in term of area, and resources.... there is just not enough space for all species to expend forever ... also pollution has killed a lot of species.. and this also a consequence of over population too...

Deforestation, because most of animal species live in the rainforest but it is getting cut down so animals get closer to extinction. Like the jaguar.
