This is for the passenger side headlight assembly in a 1998 Grand Am SE. Fairly certain they are identical to the GT. The driver's side is has a plastic cover that must be removed first, so the setup underneath may or may not be different... Remove the three 10mm hex bolts from the top of the headlight assembly holding it to the vehicle. The middle bolt has a bracket connecting it to the vehicle by a fourth hex bolt, which you may need to loosen to move the bracket out of the way. Pull the headlight assembly forward until you can access the bulbs. They can be removed from the assembly by a quarter turn, then unclip the faulty bulb and replace.

Once the headlight assembly is out of the vehicle, the bulbs can be removed. The bulbs turn about 75 degrees counter clockwise. If the vehicle has Halogen bulbs, be careful not to touch the glass tubes with your bare fingers as the oils from your fingers can cause the bulbs to fail.
