Latin America is in the following hemispheres:
Southern hemisphere.
Latin America straddles the equator, which is the dividing line between the northern and southern hemispheres. It is wholesomely in the western hemisphere, though.

Much of Latin America lies south of the equator. The region includes countries in both the Northern and Southern Hemispheres, but the majority of the landmass is located in the Southern Hemisphere.
North America is in the western and northern hemispheres. South America is in the southern and western hemispheres.

North America is entirely within the northern and western hemispheres. Europe, Africa, and South America are also in those hemispheres, but also in other hemispheres as well.
Be aware that Latin America includes Mexico, Central America, the Caribbean and South America. This means the whole region spans two hemispheres. With that being said, the hemispheres don't affect the climate at all. It however, reverses the seasons for those countries located on the southern Hemisphere, such as Brazil, Chile or Argentina. For example, when it is Summer in the northern hemisphere, the southern hemisphere is having its Winter season.
South America is located in three hemispheres. They are the Northern, Western and Southern Hemispheres. As of 2011, South America has a population of 387.5 million people.
