One bolt holds the tensioner to the engine, take it off to get the tensioner off and then you can get to the bolt that holds the pulley to the tensioner.
I have a 3.1L and there is just 1 screw that holds the tensioner in place.
You have to remove the belt first, this is easiest with a tensioner tool. Then the nut that holds it to the bracket is on the backside of the tensioner and needs to be done from the bottom.

With a socket wrench-place it over the nut that holds in the tensioner and slowly pusn to the left to loosen

there should be a bolt that holds it on to the engine block, just take of thee belt and remove the tensioner.
There is a spring loaded tensioner that holds the tension on the belt. Get a wrench that fits the nut on the tensioner and apply alot of clockwise pressure that will losen the tensioner and allow the belt to go on and off.
What holds the timing belt tensioner in place
take the bolt out that holds it to the engine and it will come off.
it is under the power steering pump attached to the bracket that holds the pump.
It should be a 16mm on the front, to release and put tension on. To remove the tensioner pulley completely, I believe the nut that holds it on from behind is a 15mm.
