Mostly Catholic celebrations, such as Christmas, Easter. There is also Prima Aprilis (1st of April, in English knows as a Fools Day), Wet Monday (first Monday after Easter, it's about to make everyone wet with water = a lot of fun!), 1st and 3rd of May (celebration of making the Constitution of the 3rd May), Mothers' Day (26th of May), Childrens' Day (1st of June), Father's Day (26th of June), Miracle by the Wistula (15th of August - celebrating won battle near Wistula, the longest river in Poland), Independence Day (11th of November), New Years Eve, First Day of the New Year.
In Poland there is also winter break for students (two weeks, usually about the end of January and the end of February - depends on what region of Poland You live in), and summer break (two months - starts at the end of the June and finishes at the beginning of September).
In Poland they are also celebrating Nameday. It's like birthday, just for your (Polish) name.
