I am a Mum with four very attractive teenaged daughters. I am also a High School teacher. If you are really involved with your boyfriend, and he loves you, presumably he is also proud of having such a popular girlfriend! I would put the 'flirty' guy calmly and politely in his place if you are not interested. You don't need to be rude. One of my 16 YO daughters (I have twins) has always had boys interested in her. She has a boyfriend who loves her, and knows 'he' has won the prize, the other boys constantly joke that if she ever gets bored, one of them will be there waiting! She jokes with them, but keeps them at a distance. Her boyfriend is very proud of her, she is beautiful and smart as well. The trick is to make your boyfriend feel secure, while saying to the other boy:
"Look, I am really flattered but I am very happy with the gorgeous boyfriend I have, but if anything happens, we'll be sure to let you know"
There is nothing wrong with flirting, its mostly harmless, and a way that people get to know each other safely. If I was you, I would feel flattered, and if you know in your heart that your boyfriend has nothing what so ever to worry about, accept the flirting as a compliment, and secretly nurture your self esteem.
